Okay so one of my new years resolutions is to start reading REAL books, because im not gonna lie all i read it youth fiction, and yes while they are "real" books, i wanna start reading stuff about history and the classics, really get myself familiar with the world of LITERATURE. so here is what is on my list
1. autobiography of coco chanel---currently on hold at the library
2. The last lecture- i have this feeling that andy pausch could be life changing.
3. Sense and sensibility
4. sherlock holmes--i acutally have this but its so large its daunting
5. ellen degnerous books- i just think this would be hilarious
6. the lord of the rings books- i started reading the hobbit then stopped.
7. books on the brain--ive checked these types of books countless times but i never read them!!! they look so cool, some of the ones ive seen were what body language tells you, and i cant remember the rest
8. for some reason i want to read about english princesses from forever ago, ever since i saw the duchess with kiera knightly ive always wanted to do that.
9. i wanna read about ghandi and nelson mandela and CLEOPATRA i absolutely want to travel to egypt some day
10. the scarlet letter--im not gonna like easy A made the book look so much better
im sure theres a billion more but i cant think of them
This morning sara and i volunteered and for the first time EVER we got rid of aLL of our cookies--people were like HAWKS and there were so many friendly people today, it made me happy to volunteer there... well im off to make an infinity scarf, adios amigos.
