the circle of life

So the reason that my title of my post is "the circle of life" is because while i was in NEW YORK WAHOOO we saw the lion king in broadway it was FANASTIC. everything. the outfits. the music. the people. the seats. i highly recommend it.

its safe to say that i am thorougly exhausted but i come back one year older!!!! yayayay to a new age!

these are ALL the things we did

the federal reserve---not much to say about that, it was interesting to a point
crumbs bakery--- AWESOME they dont really have a whole lot of cupcake bakeries around here so that was REALLY FUN
wall street---TONS of tourists but it was interesting to see all the intense buisnessey men in their suits, it was like as if i was catipulted into the show suits
tiffany--- lovely lovely lovely
trump tower--- i got to see what his daughter ivanka looks like she was on this MASSIVE poster in his building and she is GORGEOUS
rockafeller center- terrible tour guide, but it was a very fancy building
the subway--- we went on this ALOT it was our main way of travel and except for the thought of all the germs there were on each surface it was fin
    BUT
these are all the people we MET in the subway
-a man who read poetry to us and begged for donations
-a man who made it look like he had a gun in his pocket and this other man basically told him to chill the efff out
-another man who begged for donations because he was a ex veteran with cerebral paulsy
-a FANTASTIC guitar player he wasnt in the subway car but he was in the subway waiting
-a woman who rolled her own cigarettes
- a little girl who had her hand on the railing put her hand in her mouth and then put it back on the railing YUCK
- a .interesting. lady who begged our group to help her carry her things to a church and sang to us in the elevator and told us how to be saved by god, she then said after the elevator that she would go wherever we were and for fear that she would follow us EVERYWHERE we just dropped her bags and were like "sorry we have to go" and ran for the doors!!! she was an interesting character
-people who smell--its often
other things we did....
the twin towers memorial-- sad but interesting
broadway-FANTASTIC loved it
this resturant called the cafeteria- so good they served mac n cheese and it used to be a old garage.
this other resturant called eataly- crowded.hectic. really good food though.
times square--SO BUSY SO MANY PEOPLE but theres this man who stands outside in tidey whities and cowboy boots and u can take pictures with him. hes hilarious
we saw the hotel that the kardashians rented out which was okay
DIDNT SEE ANYTHING for sex and the city except for the library where she almost got married to big which was pretty.
highline- which is this railroad track above ground that some people decided to make this long wildlife walkway thing
soho-SO MANY CUTE VENDORS i bought some jewelery for my birthday there it was soooo cool
brooklyn bridge-- long and crowded very hectic but the view is spectacular
ellis island-- very inspirational but i didnt feel at the time reading EVERY sign about EVERY detail so my cousins and i skipped tht part and went straight to the theater
statue of libery- ITS HUGE. HUGE


i cant think of anything else but its safe to say that it was LONG days and LONG NIGHTs. lots of walking. i really liked new york though besides the sometimes pee-smelling streets and homeless men who camped out. the people who lived there were really nice and ask if we needed help if we looked lost. lets just say that i DO NOT want that to be the last time that i visit new york.

STEPH LONG TIME NO HEAR!!!!!!

thankfully i got a solid 11 hours of sleep today so i definitly feel MUCH better after waking up at 7 every day this week YUCK its summer i shouldnt have to do that!
I am not going to be babysitting though until the 1st so i can go trhough a food cleanse. These people i babysit for have nothing really but yogurt intheir refridgerator, and time after time i chose the nutella over the yogurt NOT A GOOD CHOICE. i am bad with temptation. but these past five days i feel as if i have been CONSTANTLY full, im never hungry because i eat ALL THE TIME at these peoples house. SO this week is my food cleanse and LOTS OF WATER.

with august approaching quickly i can feel myself flipping out internally. SENIOR YEAR!!!AHHHH i used to think that when i would be a senior that i would have everything figured out. iwould know where i want to go and what i would want to do. But thats a joke right? because i have no effing clue what i want to do.

I continually flip back in forth bewetten Pediatrician (Pro: dollar dollar bills, and helping adorable kids. Cons: lots of school, seeing sick kids :( ), Architect which is my dream job, but with the economy in the toilet i dont know if that would be so great, and a engineer because i love math.  UGHHHH. choices choices.

I did decide that im not going away to a different state for school because i could never handle that. Not being able to see my mom and all my family I COULD NEVER HANDLE THAT plus i love my bed and my room and home cooked meals, y would i ever want to give that up!!!

but anyway i am SO THANKFUL that this week is over. PRAISE THE LORD . now i can go to goodwill and get a funky table and flip it to make it look fabulous, stay up till 2, make target runs in hope to see patrick the cute target employee with sara, sleep in till 10, get starbucks, read cosmo, buy clothes......



AND THEN IM OFF TO NEW YORK for a all girls trip with my mom aunt and cousins its going to be fabulous. I am planning all my outfits out so i look fabulous every day and crossing my fingers that i see someone famous, not that im going to accost them or something i just want to take a picture from afar, i dont think i could ever go up to them. If i saw chris hemsworth, josh hutcherson, or joseph morgan from vampire diaries i think i would have a panic attack i would be so over the moon.

Not that you need to know this but my current obsessions are: the Janet Evanovich books im on the 9th book!!! my friend recommended that i read it and I LOVE IT, key lime okios yogurt JUST HAD SOME YUMMM, my new tangerine shorts, and flavored coffee.


IM OFF to my haircut wish me luck!!! and maybe goodwill if sara ever responds to my text!

HAPPY FIRDAY

this is a short one I KNOW

this is in fact NOT a song, but something i said to a bunch of dudes sara and i happened to stumble upon. here is the story

so sara and i were going to go to her high school to run around the track so that we would know EXACTLY how far we went, plus running on tracks are so nice, and squishy, not as hard as concrete. It turns out to prevent vandalism from the rivalry school (last year they wrote penis on the tennis courts in spray paint and we DO NOT live in a janky neighborhood this is the burbs) they locked all access to the track. So then we went to this pond/lake/more like a tiny pool filled with alge its gross thing and ran around the pond because they have a lovely little trail.

On our way back to the car there were a couple of people mulling around about 100 ft. away with their dogs. One family left. This other somewhat youngerish guy left and STARED im telling ya STARED at us and then decided to stop and crank up his music and roll down all his windows as we were driving away. WTF. GET A LIFE. URE WAY TOO OLD TO DO THAT. then when we were in the car ready to leave this group of youngerish boys probably college kids rolled in. Who goes to a park at 930 at night?---> boys who want to smoke pot and not get caught. So they had all thier windows down also and were staring ALSO so what did i do being the outgoing little missy that i am went HEYYYYYYYY, and then to sara i went AWW YEAH.

so now im snaking on some delicious chobiani apple and cinnamon yogurt trying to convince myself not to have some orange sherbert #fatgirlprobs. Sara and i like to vocally say our #fat girl probs.


This week i think i will document all of them and then report then back to you all. THEIR HILARIOUS.

also. four weeks ago when sara and i went to target at like 9 to get me some cosmo and fifty shades of grey this SUPER hott guy checked us out. not like looked at us, but he took our stuff and took my money and gave me my recipt checked us out.  Then yesterday when we went to target again not only did we see some SUPER HOTT GUYS but OUR FIFTY-SHADES-HOT-CHECKER-OUTER, and he ended up returning an item for us . good story. i know.

Babysitting started this week. while i try to keep my eye on the prize ($$$$$$$ cha ching) its very hard because the kids are SO ENEGETIC.....ALL THE TIME. kids.

this girl in my grade had a baby this week. i almost died when i heard about it.

I CANT EVEN FIT A SUPER UP THERE. LET ALONE A BABY.

funny story to re-enforce the previous sentence.

so i had my period and decided it might be fun to use a new kind of tampon than normal that i got in this sample pack in the mail. It was an Ultra. I kinda brushed this off and didnt really think much of it. It didnt hurt going in so i didnt think it was gonna be a problem taking it out, not that you needed to know that. But anywho its one of those tampons that flowers out when in inside ya. WHen i was going 2 bed i took it out and it HURT LIKE A MO FO and i actually had to stop midway thru and tell myself to just get it over with, either way its gonna hurt. and i KID YOU NOT. i pretty much yanked it out and almost passed out right there on the toilet. I got light headed and dizzy and i was seeing double, and i ACTUALLY HAD TO SIT DOWN ON MY BED and relax for a solid 5 mintues before i could get up and go back to my nighly routine.

ya i will NOT BE HAVING SEX (abstinence is the best form of contraception) letting alone getting pregnant any time soon.

The title may say tht i am feeling down in the dumps but im actually feeling quite contrary.

With a surge of craftical inspiration i am very content with my ipod on shiffle, full from noodles penne rosa and free starbucks, and cool because i am siting right next to my air conditioner
